Help is on the way [1]
For this week’s online ministry resources I gotta whole bag o’ goodies fo’ ya!
- My friend and brother from another mother, Wilmar van Heerden, just launched his survey on the local church and online technology, focusing on social networks, podcasts, blogs and so forth. Take part and help us build better online ministries!
- For more on online surveys and polls for your own ministry, check out this post at Church Marketing Sucks. Also check out this free church survey available courtesy of Mark Batterson and National Community Church.
- If you’ve ever considered engaging the blogsphere from the writer’s perspective, please hop on over to the Digital Leadership Network, and read this scary post by Cynthia Ware on pastors and blogging. Insightful, but scary.
- I recently added PastorHacks to my Google Reader subscription list. Their tagline is as follows: less time on tasks, more time with people. In short, the blog focuses on doing those everyday church tasks quicker and with more efficiency. Cool.
- Everybody’s favourite internet friend, Google, finally launched the newest addition to their Google Apps range, being the online answer to Microsoft’s Powerpoint presentation software: Google Presentations (creative naming, huh?) Read more about it here, here and here.
That’s it for now!
